From the Federal level, to the State level, to the County & City levels of government, widespread goals were set. I saw so many Deaf kids who were language deprived

By Elbert Cruz, Client Services Specialist Most hearing families never taught their kids that COVID-19 is a health risk. The families keep them at home without explaining the term “COVID-19” to them. The Deaf kids do not understand why their families have been staying home for the past two months. Many hearing parents do not want to learn sign language because they want their Deaf kids to blend into their hearing families. They do not want to have to communicate differently with their Deaf kids than they do with their hearing children.
